Gladstone Marina: With an emphasis on marine activity and boasting one of the highest boat ownerships of any community in Australia, it should come as no surprise that the Gladstone Marina is a modern complex for yachting and boating activity, as well as a lovely location to enjoy Gladstone's waterfront.

The Gladstone Regional Art Gallery and Museum: is dedicated to promoting the visual arts and crafts for and by the communities of the Gladstone Region in addition to acting as a focal point for the preservation and display of the Region's history and cultural heritage.

Tondoon Botanic Gardens: are home to more than 1500 species of plants from the Port Curtis Region and far North Queensland. The gardens are set upon an 83 hectare site with a wide variety of flora and fauna. Lake Tondoon provides a habitat for a variety of freshwater birds. Free guided tours of the gardens are available. Picnic areas, toilets and a cafe are also located at the gardens making it the perfect spot for a family day out.

Agnes Water & Town of 1770

Agnes Water: discover the history of Captain Cook and the crew of the Endeavour at the Miriam Vale Shire Museum.

Town of Seventeen Seventy: Great Barrier Reef day trips and fishing charters depart from here. Take a drive out to Round Hill Head for a magnificent panorama north to Bustard Head and relaxing walking trails and decked lookouts.
